I won’t

I have these legs like ceders, and this heart like a stone.
And even if it means I stand alone, I will wait on You as You carve me.

I will run until I finish this race. And I will keep my eyes closed to this world, won’t open them until they rest on Your face.

so I may find my breath in His home,

I’m so sorry I’ve let the world blind me…
I’m so sorry I’ve given my heart to mere men, 
who are only Your breath,
and to them, for my sake, You were given over to death…
I will not stop.
And I will place You as a seal on my heart,
and pouring out myself in servant-hood and love, make You as clear as a seal on my arm.
So all may see You in my works,
not because I am striving for your love,
but because I am secure in the faith that I already have it.
So, before their eyes, I will push away lies, and break addictions and habits.
Before their eyes, I will restore my soul with Your blood, and reach out for the prize and grab it.
I will not
stop.
Because I know that you are my prize, that I am Your portion,
and I understand now that my sin
was all that kept me from You.
I know now that You are Lover, that You are glory, that You are
worthy,
of my life. 
And I

stop.
